National All-Cambridge Annual Benefit Auction

Welcome, one and all, to the National Cambridge Collectors All-Cambridge Benefit Auction. The purpose of the auction is three-fold:

  • It is one of the premier fund raising events for NCC and its Museum.
  • It provides a national event for the purchase and sale of Cambridge glass and ephemera for members and non-members alike.
  • When combined with the March quarterly meeting and auction preview, provides a major and fun social event for all attendees.

We hope you find the information you are looking for. If you have any questions, please contact us. We'll be happy to help.

General Information

The Auction is held on the first Saturday in March at the beautiful Pritchard-Laughlin Civic Center, 7033 Glenn Highway in Cambridge, Ohio. Admission is $2.00. See Map & Directions Tab. The auction preview begins at 8:30 AM, and the auction begins at 9:30 AM.

On Friday, there is an auction preview scheduled to begin at 6:30pm, followed at 7:30pm by the (short) Spring Quarterly Meeting. Beginning around 7:45pm, there is an "Experts" Auction preview, where some of our most knowledgeable members discuss highlights from this year's Auction. "Show and tell" glass is also Auction action presented and discussed. Come make a weekend of it! Here's a list of Lodging in the Cambridge Area. And while you're here, be sure to visit the renowned National Museum of Cambridge Glass, which will be open on Auction weekend. A complete and updated schedule is normally printed herein and on the NCC home page around the first of January.

Donations and Consignments

The Auction Committee accepts donations and items on consignment for inclusion in the auction. If you are interested in donating or consigning items for the upcoming auction, please click on the Consignment Tab for complete instructions. Proposed lists of glass are accepted and reviewed in August and September. A final decision is made on approximately 400 lots in October, and consignors are notified in mid October which lots have been accepted. All lots must be delivered to Cambridge by the first weekend in November. A final catalog is printed in the January issue of the Crystal Ball newsletter as well as made available on this web site. For the current catalog for the upcoming auction click the Auction Catalog tab.

The day of the Auction

Anyone can participate; you do NOT have to be an NCC member. We welcome and invite you to join us in Cambridge. We realize many are not able to attend the auction in person. But that doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun. We do accept absentee bids as well. For complete details and information on how to bid, pay for items, shipping considerations, etc., click on the Bidding tab to view the terms and conditions page.
