  • It provides a national event for the purchase and sale of Cambridge glass and ephemera for members and non-members alike.
  • When combined with the March quarterly meeting and auction preview, provides a major and fun social event for all attendees.

Donations and Consignments

The Auction Committee accepts donations and items on consignment for inclusion in the auction. If you are interested in donating or consigning items for the upcoming auction, please click on the Consignment Tab for complete instructions. Proposed lists of glass are accepted and reviewed in August and September. A final decision is made on approximately 400 lots in October, and consignors are notified in mid October which lots have been accepted. All lots must be delivered to Cambridge by the first weekend in November. A final catalog is printed in the January issue of the Crystal Ball newsletter as well as made available on this web site. For the current catalog for the upcoming auction click the Auction Catalog tab.

The day of the Auction

Anyone can participate; you do NOT have to be an NCC member. We welcome and invite you to join us in Cambridge. We realize many are not able to attend the auction in person. But that doesn't mean you have to miss out on all the fun. We do accept absentee bids as well. For complete details and information on how to bid, pay for items, shipping considerations, etc., click on the Bidding tab to view the terms and conditions page.

Important: Lunch

For those who will be attending in person, you may be interested in food. Click on the following links for details about the menu and the order form. All orders will be taken between 9 and 10 day of auction by a Theo's rep at Pritchard-Laughlin Center.
