Museum Photo Slide Show - 2008
Each year the displays at the National Museum of Cambridge Glass are changed during the "down" period from November through March. This page features a slide show of photographs from the inside of the National Museum of Cambridge Glass from the year 2008.
For 2008, the Sample room display consists of Cambridge Swans, from the collection of NCC member Bill Alexander of Michigan. The display consists of all sizes of Cambridge swans, along with displays to teach how to differentiate between the three different types and how to measure the swans.
This year's Dining Room Display features the Cambridge heatherbloom color decorated with the Gloria etching. Items in the display are on loan from NCC member, Rich Bennett of Cambridge. One photo shows an original Cambridge Glass chandelier which is etched Rose Point.
The Member's Display features rare and unusual pieces of Cambridge Glass, also from the collection of NCC member, Rich Bennett.
