Museum Photo Slide Show - 2007

Each year the displays at the National Museum of Cambridge Glass are changed during the "down" period from November through March. This page features a slide show of photographs from the inside of the National Museum of Cambridge Glass from the year 2007.

For 2007, the Sample room display consists of Chantilly items, as well as a number of pieces in ebony. This display is courtesy of Diane Gary.

This year's Dining Room Display features the Cambridge amethyst color decorated with silver from the collection of Lindy Thaxton. Additional items are on loan from Marybelle Moorehead Teters and Cindy Arent. On the buffet you will see a pair of rare amethyst #1555 20 inch vases. The table features an Amethyst Flying Lady bowl as the centerpiece flanked by a pair of 3011 candlesticks. In the back corner is a #1336 crystal floor vase etched Rose Point.

For the 2007 season, NCC has invited the National Depression Glass Association to display a portion of their National Glass Collection in the member's display area of the museum. Here are some photos of the cases containing that collection - glass from many glass companies that were contemporaries of the Cambridge Glass Company. Other photos appear in the slide show, below.
