Mold Fund Campaign

Cambridge MoldAt the time of the closure of the Cambridge Glass Company, all of the assets went to the Imperial Glass Company where they resided for 20+ years. When Imperial closed, there was a real scramble to salvage and preserve the Cambridge Glass materials that were resident there.

For a variety of reasons and circumstances, some of these Cambridge materials wound up in private hands. One major place many Cambridge pieces went was to Summit Art Glass in Northeast Ohio. For many years Summit once again made items that came from original Cambridge molds.

Fast forward to 2006, the Summit molds, quite surprisingly, became available on the market. This was big news. To make a long story short, the Board authorized the $50,000.00 purchase and the molds have been acquired and moved to our storage building.

Help pay off the loan.

Be a part of the goal to raise $25,000 to pay off the remainder of the loan established to purchase the Cambridge molds from Summit Art Glass. This purchase puts to rest the possibility of future reproductions from the molds.
