3011 Figure Stem Line - V Cocktail, Tulip Cocktail & Sauterne

This is our fourth in what will probably be a series of ten articles on the Nude Figure Stem Line.

V Cocktail (3011/10) The nude is 4" (smallest nude made). The top width of the bowl is 3¼". The length of the bowl is 2". The overall height is 6 3/8", It holds 3 oz.

Tulip (3011/11) The nude is 4" (smallest nude made). The top width of the bowl is 3¼". The length of the bowl is 2 ¼". The overall height is 6½". It holds 3½ oz. (Catalog states it holds 3 oz.)

Sauterne (3011/8) The nude is 4" (smallest nude made). The top width of the bowl is 2 5/8". The length of the bowl is 2 1/8". The overall height is slightly over 6½". It holds 4 oz. (Catalog states it holds 4½ oz.

All of these are pictured in the 1930-34 Catalog Reprint on page 34-2.

The numbers for the V and Tulip Cocktails were changed in the 1940-41 catalog (see Welker Reprint 1, page 45) to 3011/3122 for the V shape and 3011/3126 for the Tulip shape.

The only colors known for both are royal blue and amethyst. There is a possibility they were made in amber, forest green, gold krystol, carmen or crystal.

The Sauterne has been seen in royal blue, amethyst, amber, topaz and forest green. It may have been made in gold krystol, carmen or crystal.

None of these are known to be decorated. They were all dropped in the later catalogs. None have been reproduced.

Of the three, the V shape is the hardest to find.
